General Information
The Great Lakes Pharmacy Resident Conference offers the opportunity for
residents from Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin to
present their research projects to their peers and colleagues around the Great
Lakes States. Each year over 415 residents and approximately 250 preceptors meet
to share the work that the residents have completed during their residency
program. The conference offers an excellent opportunity for the current leaders
within the profession to network with the future leaders. In addition, the
corporate sponsors have the opportunity to network with residents and preceptors
as well.
- Continuing Pharmacy Education Credit will be available through ACPE accredited
provider Illinois Council of Health-System Pharmacists.
The Illinois Council of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the
Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing
pharmacy education
- Take advantage of the opportunities to relax and socialize. The conference
provides a great opportunity for residents to improve their networking skills,
so they should take this opportunity to mingle with fellow residents and
preceptors during the entire meeting.
- The attire for the meeting sessions on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday is
professional/business attire. Receptions attire is business casual.
